David and Goliath

Young shepherd boy with a sling in his hand 
Out in the field tending sheep on the land
They laughed at his size said he couldn't withstand 
But he had a bigger plan backed by God's command 
The giant stood tall with armor so bright 
Mocking the crowd in the heat of the fight
David stepped up no fear in his sight 
A sling and a stone in the name of what's right
It's not the size of the man or the gear that he wields
It's the faith in the fight and the truth it reveals 
With one single shot he brought down the shield 
David the shepherd left his mark on the field
David and Goliath the battle was real
A stone in the air and a giant to kneel
Faith in his heart no sword to conceal 
Small but mighty with a victory to seal

But one swing of the sling and down he did fall
Victory rang as the crowd stood in awe
Faith over fear is the ultimate law

It's a truth for the weak for feel they might fail
The battles we face they can seem so grand 
But a heart full of faith is the mightiest stand
