Morning Prayer of Gratitude

Morning light, I thank You, Lord,

Another day to rise and shine,

Feeling grateful, feeling blessed,

Your mercy so divine.

Woke up with a prayer on my mind,

Askin' You to heal my pain,

Back is achin’, stomach's rough,

Still, I trust You, Lord, through the rain.

Every breath’s a gift, a reason to believe,

Through the struggle, I still receive,

Your love, Your grace, I feel it strong,

Hoping I can keep holding on.

Thank You, Lord, for this brand new day,

For love that guides me along the way,

Though I’m anxious, I know You care,

And in Your timing, I’ll be there.

Help me open up my heart,

Ease the worries, heal my scars,

Give me strength to carry on,

With You, I know I’m never gone.

Loving You, I find my peace,

Waiting patiently for Your release,

Thank You, Lord, for all You do,

Forever grateful, I love You.
