Shadows crawl beneath my skin,

The serpent whispers where I’ve been.

No redemption, no release,

A broken soul that will never know peace.

I feel the fire, it burns inside,

A war with heaven I cannot hide.

Chains are bleeding, tearing me whole,

Corruption carving into my soul.

Angels choke on shattered light,

Demons dance in endless night.

Every prayer turns into lies,

Every truth is crucified.

I feel the hunger, I feel the hate,

A twisted hand controls my fate.

No salvation, no control,

A rotten crown upon my skull.
