Dear heavenly Father

I kneel down low and raise my hands high

Look to the sky ask the reasons why

World so cold yet my soul stays warm

In the chaos I pray through the storm

Feet on the ground but my spirit ascends

Prayers for foes and prayers for friends

The weight of the world is heavy to bear

But in the stillness I find my repair

Oh the shadows dance but I hold my light

Words unspoken echo in the night

Each tear that falls a seed that I sow

Through my prayer my strength will grow

No riches or fame just a soul that bleeds

Prayers for the world for its endless needs

For the hungry the hurt and the betrayed

Every breath I take is another I prayed

I pray for the lost I pray for the weak

For the silence and the words they can't speak

Through the night through the pain and decay

Lord God

We thank you for your boundless love and grace.

Guide us each day to walk in your light, showing kindness, patience, and mercy to all we meet. Strength our faith, protect us from evil, and grant us peace in our hearts. May your Holy Spirit inspire our thoughts and actions so that we may do your will and glorify your name in all things, through Christ, our Lord, Amen

I wake up everyday with my head to the sky

Hands together tight asking why oh why

Worlds spinning crazy but I keep my stride

Hustle in my soul as the night turns gray

The streets taught me lessons no school ever could

But the world is a jungle and the nights can betray
