The Depth Below

Beneath the weight of thought and flame,

I sank where no one speaks my name.

The light above turned faint, then gone,

And time uncoiled, dragging me along.

Breathless in a silent tomb,

Where memories decay and bloom.

A pressure builds — I feel it slow…

I’m reaching through the depth below.

The depth below, where silence screams,

Where truth is drowned in broken dreams.

No sky, no sound, no hands to hold —

Just crushing dark and stories cold.

I found the bones I used to be,

Worn with shame, but strangely free.

A voice inside began to cry —

But not for help, just asking why.

I clawed through layers of my skin,

Each scar a doorway caved within.

The echoes burned, they wouldn’t go —

They led me to the depth below.

The depth below, where shadows feed,

On every unmet want and need.

The mind dissolves, the heart grows still —

And silence tastes like bitter will.

There is no floor…

There is no rise…

Just falling thoughts…

And hollow skies…

The depth below, it knows my name,

Carved in hurt, not built in flame.

But maybe in this fractured glow,

I’ll plant a seed and let it grow…
