Lord, hear my prayer tonight,

I’m searching for that light.

My heart is heavy, feet like lead,

In this moment, I’m feeling dread.

Sitting in this waiting room,

Clock ticks loud, fills the gloom.

Chest is aching, thoughts collide,

In this storm, I need Your guide.

Oh, keep me strong, don’t let me fall,

Your grace is what I call.

From my worries, please set me free,

Lord, I trust in Thee.

Heal me from my head to my toes,

Wrap me in Your endless hope.

With every breath, I’ll sing your praise,

In Your arms, I’ll find my way.

Doctor says I’m holding on tight,

But I’m lost here in this fight.

Thoughts like thunder, fears arise,

Lord, lift me up, help me to rise.

Oh, keep me strong, don’t let me break,

Through the storm, I’ll never shake.

In the shadows, I’ll call Your name,

Lord, forever stay the same.
