Like a hand is not an eye, Or a foot that cannot fly, Each with purpose, strong and true, In the body, me and you. We are knit in unity, Though diverse in what we see, One in spirit, joined as one, 'Til the work on earth is done. If I speak with silver tongue, And have not love, my song's unsung. If I know all mysteries, But lack love, I'm emptier than trees. Love bears all, believes, endures, Love is hope that still assures, It's the greatest gift of all, Love will answer every call Like an athlete, eyes ahead, Discipline, the path we tread. Every urge and impulse tamed, For a crown that can't be claimed. We deny what pulls us down, For the prize, the victor's crown, Run with purpose in your stride, Heaven's glory is your guide To the world, a foolish thing, But in Christ, our souls take wing. Power of God, the cross revealed, Healing stripes, our wounds are sealed. We proclaim Him, lifted high, To redeem and justify, Through His death, we find our life, Ending sorrow, ending strife. In the desert, parched and dry, We seek a stream that won't run dry. Christ, the rock, from whom it flows, Living water, quenching woes. Drink, and never thirst again, Find new life, Amen, Amen. He satisfies our deepest need, A fountain, always guaranteed. Be alert, stand firm in faith, Do not yield to fear or hate. Be courageous, strong in heart, Play your noble, godly part. Let love guide all that you do, In His light, make all things new, Watch and pray, and always see, His divine reality Let there be no factions here, No dividing, causing fear. In one spirit, one accord, Follow Christ, our risen Lord. Speak the truth in unity, Bind our hearts in harmony, Strive for peace, let love increase, Face to face until Him we meet Take and eat, remember well, Of His love, the story tell. Broken body, shed for you, Grace and mercy, ever new. Drink this cup, His covenant sealed, Hope of glory is revealed, Till He comes, we do proclaim, Jesus Christ, our Savior's name. Death is swallowed, victory won, Through the Father and the Son. If in Christ, we rise again, Free from sorrow, free from pain. We will reign with Him above, In His everlasting love, Hope eternal, bright and clear, Wipe away every tear. Eat or drink, or whatever you do, Do it all for God, it's true. Seek His will in every way, Let your light shine every day.
