Sure ,my heart has been broken

like shattered glass on the ground,

and my emotions was scattered,

and,I couldn't find my strength when it failed,

But,the pain was worth it

by the lesson that I learned,

And,it made me wiser

for the next one's that will come.

I wasn't going to let it keep me tied to the past,

Because, the past will only haunt you

if you don't let it pass .

keep me wrapped up in chains,

I freed myself from it

I made a way to excape the pain.

Sure ,I did cry soaking my pillow case.

many times there was sleepless night's

when I would lay awake.

through every tear that had fallen,

it meant my heart was on the mend,

my heart was healing once again.

I wasn't going to let it keep me tied to the past,
