Minecraft, again

I said I’d be there by seven sharp,

Now it’s midnight and I ain’t left the barn.

She’s blowin’ up my phone like TNT,

But I just found diamonds at layer 15.

Just one more block, then I’ll hit the road,

But I got ten wolves and a creeper load.

She’s dressed to kill, I’m dressed to mine,

She’s drinkin’ wine, I’m stackin’ pine.

I know I said I'd be out the door...

But just one more block, and maybe four.

She planned a dinner, made her hair all nice,

I picked a fight with a baby slime.

She’s got heels, I got redstone dust,

She’s in silk — I’m diggin’ with touch.

Just one more block, then I swear I’m done,

But I found a spawner and I’m on a run.

She’s in the mood, I’m in a cave,

She wants love, I’m tryin’ to save.

The world can wait, can’t stop the lore...

Just one more block, and maybe four.

She says, “You love that game more than me,”

I say, “That’s crazy — I married thee!”

Then she shuts off the power with a look so mean,

Guess I’ll respawn... on the couch this week.

Just one more block, I always say,

Till the lights go out and she walks away.

I could’ve had love, but I chose the core,
