The battlefield’s lit the stakes are sky high

Flames in the shadows I see the devil's lie

He's creeping in whispers slick in disguise

But I'm armored up truth strapped to my thighs

I've got my shield faith heavy like steel

Sword in my grip Word sharp enough to peel

Lies from the surface cut through the unreal

This war's not flesh it's the spirit we feel

He throws darts but I'm quick with the block

Helmet of salvation mind on the Rock

Shoes fitted for peace but I'm ready to stomp

Through the snares of the serpent he can't stop my walk

Every step’s a prayer every move divine

I'm breaking the chains leaving fear behind

The Spirit’s my guide no darkness can bind

I'm armored in glory His victory is mine

Armor up we ain't backing down

Holy Spirit power shaking the ground

Declare war on the dark tear the strongholds apart

With the Word in my heart this is where we start

Truth and light like fire in my soul

Devil can't win we fight till the end

We ain't wrestling flesh this is spirit fights

Sword of the Spirit cut lies in two

Piercing the shadows breaking through

Principalities tremble they know it's true

A heavenly army in a chosen crew

Breastplate shining righteousness gleams

Against the schemes against wicked dreams

Victory's written it's more than it seems
