From The Shadow’s Of The Used, Here’s To You!

In the echoes of silence, I hear the cries,

A young girl's heart, catching the lies.

Labels on corners, like toys on a shelf,

Once bright with laughter, now mourning herself.

I wore a smile like a shimmering mask,

In a world so cruel, where they never would ask.

Hands played my strings like a puppet, I swayed,

Behind all the laughter, the innocence frayed.

Whispers of shame in the shadows I’d find,

My heart in a box, with bars in my mind.

But the spark in me flickers, it fights to ignite,

From ashes of sorrow, I emerge, stand upright.

No more a toy for their reckless parade,

I’m breaking these chains, my spirit unafraid.

From the depths of despair, I rise from the fall,

Lost love for life—I'm reclaiming it all.

Through the storm I have wandered, lonely and lost,

The price I have paid, I’ve learned at a great cost.

But I won’t be broken; I’m learning to fight, so for ones

In the shadows, of this experience,

we’ll shine, and find our way in the light.

With each scar, I wear, a story unfolds,

Turning pain into strength, turning dreams into gold.

They may try to define me, their words like a knife,

But I’m forging my path, resurrecting my life.

The echoes are fading, their voices now dim,

I’m reclaiming my power; I have trust in my whim.

From the depths of the night, I’m breaking away,

This girl with a story will make her own way, to make them pay.

So here I stand tall with the dreams of

another greater day in my eyes,

A woman reborn under limitless skies.

With the heart of a warrior who’s weathered the storm,

I’m soaring above the horizons, beyond the heavens, in search of a better, brighter, happier, and Healthier life. Coz I’ve got faith in my scars and the ways I’ve gone through.

To power on and be within my best selfed.
