Born in fire, built in haste,
A titan bound to rust and waste.
Sailed the seas with broken might,
A floating wreck, a doomed gunfight.
Engines scream, but never roar,
Decks are cracked, the steel is sore.
A carrier cursed, a ship betrayed,
Ghosts of failure in its wake.
Steel coffin of the Red Storm,
Drifting wreck where nightmares form.
Power promised, power lost,
Frozen wings at fatal cost.
Missiles armed, but rusted through,
Leaking oil, the ocean’s glue.
Pilots prayed before they flew,
Knowing they might not break through.
