Ancient scrolls they call divine 
Words of fire etched in time
Isaiah speaks with a voice so bold
A prophets truth worth more than gold 
Told the kings what they ignored 
Justice waits with a sharpened sword
Tales of the wolf and the lamb in peace
When the world's discord will finally cease
Oh the pain he bore that we might live
The strength of love he dared to give
Speak of one with the sins to bear
The servant's crown too heavy to wear
Through the fire and through the pain 
Isaiah pointed to cleansing rain
Jubilee coming to bind the poor
Unlock the chains fling open the door 
Hear the call in the desert air
A voice that whispers everywhere 
He saw the light a kingdom to rise
Visions of hope in heavenly skies
In the pages they call Isaiah's scroll
Prophetic words with a wise man's soul
Swords to plowshares the vision  unfolds 
A world of peace where the truth is gold
Justice rolling like a mighty stream
Wilderness paths with his glory gleam
Nations rise up they break the scheme 
Hope in despair God redeems the dream 
Here I am send me I'll go
With fiery lips that the spirit bestows 
Eagles soaring high in the winds that blow
Still waters run deep in the seeds we sow
A child is born a son is given 
Shattered darkness the light has risen
The wolf and  lamb what a sight unwritten 
Kingdom come with the truth not hidden 
Turn the lamp on watch the shadows fade
The burden carried the call obeyed
From the burning coal to the holy parade
