On the day I watched your mom become your mother

It was a Saturday morning she got up early and went out to the beauty shop around 7:00. I think she did about 10 people that morning we had to be in the hospital around 11:30. they broke your mom's water somewhere around noon so she had to lay there until her labor started that evening. That day she was so unbelievably calm

she never took any of it lightly.

Something that she had prepared herself for years

On 11/3/1984 at 8:11 pm

A 7 pound 13 ounce baby girl was born

They laid you on your mom's chest

She was smiling and crying at the same time she was so happy.

It wasn't an hour after you were born she felt good enough and was ready to take you home but of course they wouldn't let her.

Alysha it bothers me everyday that she can't be here with you and her grandkids. Especially on mother's Day.

But what a great mother she was and what a great mother you are Happy mother's Day Alysha
