[Intro]
Strobe in my chest
Room starts to bend
Hands in the dust
I don’t pretend
[Verse 1]
Steel in my jaw
Heart in the red
Teeth on the floor
Bass in my head
I walk in slow
Like I own the quake
Every step I take
Makes the rafters shake
[Chorus]
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Leather and metal and sweat
Every hit like a thunderclap
Haven’t hit my limit yet (nope)
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Let the ceiling start to bow
When the snare cracks twice like lightning
Everybody down below
[Drum Solo 1]
[Short, surgical drum solo: rapid double-stroke snare bursts, tiny tom flurries bouncing left-right, syncopated kicks teasing the drop. Ends on a tight snare choke.]
[Verse 2]
I don’t need luck
Just grit and skin
Scars on my knuckles
Ink on my grin
You say “too loud”
I say “too late”
We already shook
Every license plate
[Pre-Chorus]
Sweat on the floor
Teeth in the grin
You feel the war
Under your skin
[Chorus]
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Leather and metal and sweat
Every hit like a thunderclap
Haven’t hit my limit yet (hey!)
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Let the ceiling start to bow
When the snare cracks twice like lightning
Everybody down below
[Drum Solo 2]
[Extended drum break: mid to large tom runs climbing and collapsing, snare ghost-note grids, sudden silence then explosive rolls. Patterns grow denser, toms deepen from chesty to cavernous, ending in a massive floor-tom cannon shot.]
[Bridge]
I’m the fault line
Under your town
If I start talking
Walls fall down
You want the rush?
Step in the ring
I make the concrete
Start to sing (oh yeah)
[Electro Guitar Solo]
[Wailing, pitch-bent guitar lead slices over a stripped groove, harmonized bends and tapped runs answering chopped vocal shouts. Solo builds in speed and intensity, then locks into the kick pattern before dropping out to expose the drums.]
[Drum Solo 3]
[Final colossal drum solo: begins on smallest toms in a tight, whispering pattern, expands tom by tom into huge, booming strikes; double-time snare barrages, flams, and cross-kit sweeps. Ends in a furious all-tom avalanche that slams into one last unison hit.]
[Chorus]
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Leather and metal and sweat
Every hit like a thunderclap
Haven’t hit my limit yet
Call it a tom storm cathedral
Let the ceiling start to bow
When the snare cracks twice like lightning
Everybody down below (down below)
