Mountains of the Mind

Lost in the shadows, climbing so high,

Whispering winds sing a lullaby.

Walking through the mountain, echoes of doubt,

Seeking the way, but I'm lost in the cloud.

Step by step, on this rugged trail,

Faces in the mist, stories to tell.

The path unknowing, secrets buried deep,

Wandering souls, where angels fear to leap.

Oh, I long to see the light,

Break through the dark of night.

Hold on to hope, don’t surrender,

Find my way back home, remember.

Walking through the mountain, don’t know where I’ve been,

Hoping for a sign, to guide me in.

Wishing I could wake up in a world at peace,

From the shadows, let my soul release.

When I wake up, will I find the place I crave?

Lost in this dark maze, longing to be brave.

Maybe when I wake, I’ll see the dawn,

Hope in my heart, I’ll carry on.

Soon I believe I’ll reach the end,

Find the home I seek, a trusted friend.

Till then I walk these mountains tall,

Searching for my home, after all.
